National Mourning Day observed at Shimanto Bank

Shimanto Bank Ltd has observed National Mourning Day and the 48th martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

On that occasion, the bank placed a wreath at the portrait of Bangabandhu at the Bangabandhu Lounge of its head office on Tuesday, according to a press release.

A Dua and discussion session was also arranged on Monday at the same place seeking peace for the departed souls of martyrs of the August 15 tragedy.

Mr. Rafiqul Islam, Managing Director and CEO of Shimanto Bank Ltd, was present in both of the programmes as chief guest.

Employees of the head office along with the higher officials were also present at the programmes.
