NCC Bank distributes agri materials to farmers in Chattogram

NCC Bank on Saturday distributed agricultural materials at a free of cost to the marginal farmers of Boalkhali in Chattogram as part of its corporate social responsibility and conducted Financial Literacy activities. 

A programme was arranged in this regard on the premises of Kadhurkhil United Muslim High School, where Chairman of NCC Bank Md Abul Bashar as chief guest and former Chairman and Chairman of the executive committee of the board SM Abu Mohsin as special guest distributed various types of seeds, saplings, fertiliser and pesticides among 500 marginal farmers of Boalkhali, according to a press release Monday.

Managing Director and CEO of the bank Mohammad Mamdudur Rashid presided over the ceremony while Chairman of Yakub Group M Yakub Ali, Chairman of Kadhurkhil Union Parishad Mohammad Shafiul Azam Shefu, headmaster of Kadhurkhil United Muslim High School Mohammad Eliash, Deputy Managing Director of the bank Md Rafat Ullah Khan and SEVP and Company Secretary Md Monirul Alam were present on the occasion as special guests. 

Besides, SVP of CRM Division Muhammad Shahidul Islam, VP and Head of Security and Logistics Md Ghalib Asadullah and other officers of head office along with manager and officers of Chattogram region branches of NCC Bank also attended the programme.

Chairman of NCC Bank Md Abul Bashar said through this distribution of agricultural materials the marginal farmer of this area will be benefited. He said NCC Bank is not only operating business but also contributing to corporate social responsibility.
