NCC Bank organises workshop on 'Cluster Financing' at Dinajpur

NCC Bank, as the lead bank, organized a daylong workshop on "Cluster Financing" recently at Dinajpur.

Md. Rafiqul Islam, Executive Director of Rangpur office of Bangladesh Bank inaugurated the workshop as chief guest while Md. Zakir Anam, Deputy Managing Director of NCC Bank grace the occasion as special guest, according to a media release. 

Md. Shafiqul Alam, Additional Director of Bangladesh Bank, Sharif Mohammad Mahsin, SVP & Head of SME & Agri and Md. Omar Sharif, Regional Head of North Zone of NCC Bank were also present on the occasion as guest of honor.

Md. Kamal Hossain, Manager of NCC Bank Dinajpur Branch and managers of other scheduled banks were also present at the workshop.

About 104 officials of 42 scheduled banks & Financial Institutions along with 90 entrepreneurs of the Dinajpur district participated in the workshop.  

Md. Rafiqul Islam, Executive Director of Rangpur office of Bangladesh Bank highlighted the importance of cluster financing and expressed that Banking sector will be move forward for this type of financing on a regional basis.

Md. Zakir Anam, Deputy Managing Director of NCC Bank emphasized various advantages and prospects of cluster financing and expressed that NCC Bank will play a leading role in this type of financing in line with Bangladesh Bank guidelines.
