New board of Social Islami Bank holds meeting with senior executives

The newly-formed board of Social Islami Bank recently exchanged views with the Divisional Heads and Branch Managers of Dhaka city at the Bank’s head office.

Professor of the Department of Finance at University of Dhaka Dr M Sadiqul Islam, FCMA, newly elected Chairman of the Bank, was present as chief guest and Zafar Alam, Managing Director & CEO, presided over the meeting.

Md Anisul Hoque, Vice Chairman, Maksuda Begum, chairman of EC Committee, Chartered Accountant Md Anwar Hossain, FCA, chairman of Audit Committee, and Md Morshed Alam Khondoker, Independent Director of the Bank, were also present there.

Prof Dr M Sadiqul Islam, Chairman of the Board, said that the Board would provide all kinds of support to continue regular activities of the Bank. He also hoped that the trust of clients would restore soon.

Zafar Alam, Managing Director & CEO, urged the employees of all level to work in harmony & with professionalism. The executives greeted the newly formed board of directors with flowers.
