NOVOAIR, the country’s leading private airline, has made the dream of sky travel a reality for underprivileged children.

On Wednesday, NOVOAIR took 30 underprivileged children from schools run by the Jaago Foundation on a dream flight to Cox’s Bazar. On the same day, the airline also conducted a beach cleaning programme at Cox’s Bazar Sea Beach with the participation of the students.

NOVOAIR organised the “Dream Flight” and “Beach Cleaning” programmes to celebrate its 12th anniversary.

The children were flown from Dhaka to Cox’s Bazar on a flight that departed at 10:20 am, and they returned to Dhaka on a flight at 6:30 pm.

During their time in Cox’s Bazar, the children visited the sea beach, the Bangladesh Air Force base, and Cox’s Bazar Railway Station, creating unforgettable memories.

Expressing her feelings about fulfilling her dream, Maymuna Rahman, a class-five student, said, “I never imagined I would get to visit the sea beach by plane and see the aircraft of the Bangladesh Air Force. I am truly grateful to NOVOAIR for making this dream come true.”

Hanif Mia, a class-three student, shared, “Flying through the clouds in an airplane was an amazing feeling! We played on the beach, saw the beautiful Cox’s Bazar Railway Station—this trip was like a dream come true.”

NOVOAIR’s Managing Director Mofizur Rahman said, “Children are the future of our nation. This initiative is our way of fulfilling their dreams and inspiring them. We believe such efforts are important as part of our social responsibility.”

He also mentioned, “We take pride in Cox’s Bazar Sea Beach. In line with our commitment to environmental sustainability and raising awareness, we organised a ‘Beach Cleaning’ programme.”

NOVOAIR operates daily flights from Dhaka to Cox’s Bazar, Chattogram, Saidpur, Jashore, Sylhet, and Rajshahi. The international route to Kolkata is temporarily suspended but will resume shortly.
