NRB Bank donates 2,500 waste bins to Chattogram city

In a step towards environmental sustainability, NRB Bank PLC has donated 2,500 waste bins to Chattogram City Corporation (CCC) as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, according to a press release.

The handing-over ceremony took place at the city corporation office premises in Chattogram on Sunday.

Chattogram City Mayor Dr. Shahadat Hossain received the donation on behalf of the city corporation.

Mr. Tarek Reaz Khan, Managing Director of NRB Bank PLC; Mr. Anwar Uddin, Deputy Managing Director, Mr. Rana Dey, Area Head of the Wholesale Banking, Mr. Atikur Rahman, Head of Branch Chattogram Main Branch; and other distinguished officials from both organizations were present at the event.

The press statement says the donation of waste bins aligns with NRB Bank PLC’s broader commitment to sustainability, environmental conservation, and community development. By actively participating in waste management solutions, the bank continues to uphold its mission of responsible corporate citizenship.
