NRB Bank PLC holds Annual Business Conference-2026

The Annual Business Conference of NRB Bank PLC was successfully held on 17th January 2026 at the Gulshan Club Limited, Dhaka, under the slogan "Year of Resurrection."

The conference was graced by the presence of Mr. Iqbal Ahmed OBE DBA, the Chairman of the bank, who attended as the Chief Guest, according to a press release. 

Mr. Tarek Reaz Khan, the Managing Director & CEO, presided over the event.

Key figures at the conference included Chairman ofthe Executive Committee Mr. Md. Quamrul Islam Chowdhury, Chairman of the Audit Committee Mr. A K M Mizanur Rahman FCA, Chairman of the Risk Management Committee Mr. Shaikh Md. Salim, Independent Directors Ferdous Ara Begum, Mr. SK. Matiur Rahman & Professor Sharif Nurul Ahkam were present on the occasion.

In addition to these attendees, Senior members of the bank, including Deputy Managing Directors Mr. Md Shaheen Howlader, Mr. Md. Ali Akbar Faraji, Mr. Anwar Uddin and Mr. M. Rashidul Huda, along with the Senior Management Team and all Branch Managers and Division/Department Heads, were also present.

During the conference, the bank's performance over the past year was reviewed, and strategic action plans for achieving the 2026 targets were discussed and adopted.
