NRBC Bank holds board meeting

The first meeting of the newly constituted Board of Directors of NRBC Bank was held at the bank’s head office on Wednesday, according to a press release.

Md. Ali Hossain Prodhania, the new Independent Director and Chairman of the bank, presided over the meeting. Md. Abul Bashar, Md. Anwar Hossain, Md. Nurul Haque, Barrister Md. Shafiqur Rahman, Professor Dr. Syed Abul Kalam Azad, and Muhammad Emdad Ullah, FCA, Independent Directors, Md. Rabiul Islam, Managing Director (C.C.), Kabir Ahmed and Harunur Rashid, DMD, Mohammad Ahsan Habib, Company Secretary of the Bank attended the meeting. 

The board of directors discussed in detail the issues of sustainable business development by ensuring good governance of the bank in the meeting.

In addition, the members of the new Board of Directors sought the overall cooperation of esteemed customers, stakeholders, regulatory institutions including Bangladesh Bank, entrepreneurs and shareholders, and the bank's officers and employees for the overall progress of the bank.
