NRBC Bank organizes workshop on Credit Rating and Capital Management

NRBC Bank  PLC organized a day-long workshop on the Credit Rating System and Capital Management Techniques on Saturday, June 28, 2025. 

Dr. Md. Touhidul Alam Khan, Managing Director and CEO of NRBC Bank, inaugurated the workshop as the chief guest at the bank’s Training Institute, according to a media release. 

Mr. Kabir Ahmed and Mr. Harunur Rashid, Deputy Managing Directors (DMD); Mr. Tanushree Mitra,  Head of the Credit Risk Management Division;  Mr. Serajul Amin Ahmed, Head of the Risk Management Division & Chief Risk Officer (CRO) were present at the session.

Officials from the Credit Risk Management Division actively participated in the workshop.

Dr. Md. Touhidul Alam Khan, Managing Director & CEO of the bank, stated at the inaugural session that officials of the Credit Risk Management Division (CRMD) must have in-depth knowledge of the credit rating system and capital management techniques to keep the bank’s assets risk at a minimal level.

He emphasized the need to improve the quality of loans through proper credit discipline. Quality loans not only ensure profitability for the bank but also support sustainable growth by reducing pressure on capital.
