NRBC Bank PLC has participated in the Banker-SME Women Entrepreneurs’ Assembly, Product Exhibition, and Fair organised by Bangladesh Bank to promote women entrepreneurs in the Cottage, Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (CMSME) sector.
The four-day fair began on Thursday at the Bangla Academy premises in Dhaka. Dr. Ahsan H. Mansur, Governor of Bangladesh Bank, visited NRBC Bank’s stall at the event, according to a media release.
Deputy Governor Nurun Nahar, Executive Director Md. Khasru Parvez, Director of SME & Special Programs Department Nawshad Mustafa of Bangladesh Bank, as well as Dr. Md. Touhidul Alam Khan, Managing Director and CEO of NRBC Bank PLC, and Deputy Managing Director Kabir Ahmed were present at the occasion.
NRBC Bank’s stall will remain open to visitors every day from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM until Sunday, 11 May, 2025.
The stall aims to encourage women to become entrepreneurs by providing information on business opportunities and offering guidance on accessing credit and other banking support for starting or expanding their ventures.
In addition, products made by two women entrepreneurs are being exhibited and made available for sale at the stall, showcasing the bank’s commitment to supporting grassroots-level entrepreneurship.
