Omera Petroleum recognised as largest LPG importer for second consecutive year

Omera Petroleum Limited has been recognised as the largest LPG importer for the second consecutive year during the 74th Foundation Day of Mongla Port Authority, according to a press release Monday.
The award was presented by Rear Admiral Shaheen Rahman, chairman of Mongla Port Authority, to Omera’s CEO Tanzeem Chowdhury.
In the fiscal year 2023-24, Omera Petroleum Limited played a key role in ensuring energy security in Bangladesh by importing substantial volumes of LPG through Mongla Port, added the statement.
Expressing his gratitude, Mr Chowdhury said, “This achievement is only possible due to the trust and support of our customers, stakeholders, and regulators. We are deeply thankful to everyone who has been part of our journey.”
