ONE Bank holds exchange of views on Shariah governance

ONE Bank PLC arranged a day-long programme titled ‘Exchange of Views on Shariah Governance on May 17, 2025, at Hotel Holiday Inn, Dhaka City Centre.

Mr. Shabbir Ahmed, Managing Director (Current Charge), formally inaugurated the program, according to a statement.

Mr. Abu Zafore Md. Saleh, Additional Managing Director, delivered his welcome speech. Mr. Mohammad Zakir Hossain, Additional Director and Mr. Aftab Uddin, Deputy Director, Islamic Banking Regulation and Policy Department, Bangladesh Bank, were present as special guests in the event. They also conducted important sessions on Islamic Banking. Senior Executives and Zonal Heads of the Bank were present in the program and exchanged their valuable views.
