The 10th Extra-Ordinary General Meeting of Padma Oil Company Limited was held virtually through a Digital Platform on 11 January 2025.
Chairman of the Company's Board of Directors and Retired Secretary to Govt. of Bangladesh, Mr. A K M Zafar Ullah Khan presided over the meeting, according to a media release.
Directors of the Board, Mr. Anupam Barna, Mr. Md. Zakir Hossain, Mr. Md. Tarikul Islam Khan, Mr. Kutubuddin Akhter Rashid, Company's Managing Director Engr. Md. Abdus Sobhan, CFO Mr. Kanchan Chandra Shorn, FCMA, Company Secretary Mr. Ali Absar and BPC & Company's high officials along with the respected shareholders were present at the Meeting.
The shareholders approved the special resolution to change the name of the Company to "P ADMA Oll.- PLC." from "P ADMA Oll.- COMPANY LIMITED" in accordance with the Companies act, 1994 (2nd amendment 2020).
