PBIL wins Independence Golden Jubilee Award 2023 for excellence in merchant banking

Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) recently awarded Prime Bank Investment Limited (PBIL) the Independence Golden Jubilee Award 2023.
PBIL secured first place in the Merchant Bank category in recognition of its significant contributions to the development of the country's capital market, according to a press release.
Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury, Speaker of the National Parliament, and Waseqa Ayesha Khan, State Minister for Finance, handed over the award as the chief guest and the special guest, respectively, to Syed M. Omar Tayub, Managing Director and CEO of PBIL.
The event was presided over by Prof Shibli Rubayat-Ul-Islam, Chairman of BSEC, and was attended by BSEC high officials, as well as senior officials from other institutions related to the capital market.
