The 15th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Primary Dealers Bangladesh Limited (PDBL) was held on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, in Dhaka.
The meeting was chaired by Syed Mahbubur Rahman, Chairman of PDBL and Managing Director & CEO of Mutual Trust Bank PLC (MTB), according to a press release.
Managing Directors and CEOs or their representatives from all 20 member banks, along with treasury heads and senior officials, were present at the event.
In the AGM, MTB’s MD & CEO, Syed Mahbubur Rahmanand Mirza Elias Uddin Ahmed, Managing Director & CEO of Jamuna Bank PLC, were re-elected as Chairman and Treasurer of PDBL, respectively.
Md. Mazibur Rahman, Managing Director of Janata Bank PLC, was elected as the new Vice Chairman.
A nine-member Technical Committee was also formed, with Asim Kumar Saha, Deputy Managing Director of Mercantile Bank PLC, appointed as the Convener.
