The 30th annual general meeting of Pioneer Insurance PLC was held on a digital platform on Monday.
Mr Zakir Ahmed Khan, independent director of the company, presided over the meeting.
M Anis Ud Dowla, Ms Munize Manzur, Ms Sanchia Chowdhury, Ms Sylvana Sikder, Ms Munsura Rahmatullah, Ms Parveen Akther, Ms Rozina Afroze, Ms Shahana Rahmat Ullah, Shafiqul Islam Khan, MA Majed, Sheikh Mohammad Salim Ullah, Chief Executive Officer Mr Syed Shahriyar Ahsan, and company secretary Md Imran Hasan, ACS, as well as a large number of shareholders, were present in the meeting.
In 2025, the company earned a premium of Tk 3.87 billion and a profit after Tax of Tk 446.5 million, says a media release.
The meeting unanimously approved all the agenda, including a 25 per cent cash dividend and 5.0 per cent stock dividend for the year ended December 31, 2025, as recommended by the board of directors. The shareholders expressed their satisfaction with the company’s performance during the year.
The chairman of the meeting, on behalf of the board of directors, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the shareholders for their continued support to the company.
He also appreciated the employees of the company for their outstanding performance and advised them to continue their sincere efforts in future too.
