Polar introduces ‘Essora’ fruit ice cream to celebrate fruit season

Polar Ice Cream has recently launched a new product called “Essora,” a white chocolate-coated fruit ice cream, introducing a new format in the local ice cream market, according to a press release Thursday.

The product is available in two distinct fruit variants--Banana and Mixed Berry. Each bar features a white chocolate shell with a fruit-based core and layered ripples, combining fruit flavours with a chocolate coating.

Essora was officially launched recently in Dhaka in the presence of senior officials of Polar Ice Cream, including Chief Operating Officer Shah Masud Imam, Head of Marketing Md Abdullah-Al-Mamun, Head of Sales and Distribution Rashed Sarwar, Head of HR and IT Kazi Saiful Islam, GM (Factory Project) Mohammad Mainul Islam, Head of Supply Chain Syed Imtiaz Hossain, Head of Plant Operation Mohammad Iftekhar Ahsan, and Head of Internal Audit Nizamul Islam.

Speaking at the launch, Chief Operating Officer Shah Masud Imam said, "Today's consumers are looking beyond just taste, they seek excitement along with more mindful choices in what they consume."

He said Essora has been developed in response to this shift in consumer preference, combining fruit flavours with a white chocolate coating to offer a layered ice cream experience.

Mr Imam also added that the company aims to make everyday ice cream consumption more engaging, exciting, and refreshing for the new generation.
