Premier Bank hosts Employees Wellness Day-2026 to promote workplace health and well-being

To prioritize both physical fitness and mental health in the workplace, The Premier Bank PLC organized a Employees Wellness Day-2026 on Wednesday, 29 January 2026, at the Learning & Talent Development Centre (LTDC), Head Office, Banani, Dhaka.
The day-long program, arranged by the Human Resources Division in collaboration with Praava Health, focused on raising health awareness, ensuring employee well-being, and fostering a positive work environment, according to a media release.
The program was inaugurated by Md. Monzur Mofiz, Managing Director (CC) of The Premier Bank PLC.
In his opening remarks, he stated, “Ensuring employees’ health and mental peace is a prerequisite for building a sustainable workplace. Regular initiatives like this would play a vital role in enhancing employee productivity and quality of life.”
He also expressed his commitment to continuing such initiatives in the future.
The event was attended by Mohammad Al-Amin, Deputy Managing Director & Chief Credit Officer; S M Wali Ul Morshed, Deputy Managing Director, Consumer Banking; Fahim Ahmad Ashraf, SEVP & Head of ICC Division; Md. Ahsan Ul Alam, SEVP & Head of Agent Banking and Md. Moinul Huq Shiraze, VP & Head of Human Resources (In-Charge).
On behalf of Praava Health, Consultant Clinical Physiotherapist Dr. Jotishko Biswas, Clinical Physician Baitun Nahar Joya Deena, along with other healthcare specialists, provided services and consultations to employees.
Throughout the day, Head Office employees participated in various health services, including basic health screenings (blood pressure, sugar level, BMI), doctor consultations, and physiotherapy wellness sessions.
Highlighting the importance of both physical and mental well-being, the initiative successfully engaged employees in a lively and festive atmosphere.
Organizers reaffirmed Premier Bank’s commitment to ensuring the health and overall welfare of its employees through similar initiatives in the future, the release adds.
