The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) has increased the consumer-level price of 12-kilogramme liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders by Tk 44 while adjusting the price for September.
Consumers will have to pay Tk 1,421 for a 12kg LGP cylinder from Monday evening. The price was Tk 1,377 in August and Tk 1,366 in July.
