Prime Bank hosts seminar on Financial Inclusion and Youth Empowerment at BUP

Prime Bank PLC., in collaboration with Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP), organized a seminar recently titled “Financial Inclusion: Engaging & Inspiring Youth in Banking” under its flagship PrimeAcademia initiative.
With special participation from Lieutenant Colonel S M Zobaer Alam-psc, Chairman of Department of Business Administration-General Faculty of Business Studies (FBS) of BUP and Lecturer Israt Jahan Dina, the event turned into a lively exchange of ideas, inspiration and learning, according to a media release.
They also addressed the audience, underscoring the importance of financial literacy and leadership skills for students.
M. Nazeem A. Choudhury, Deputy Managing Director of Prime Bank PLC., led the discussion, inspiring students to envision meaningful careers built on purpose and innovation.
Senior Executive Vice President & Head of Liability Shaila Abedin and M M Mahbub Hasan, Head of Financial Inclusion & School Banking, who shared their insights on how innovation, ethics, and empathy are shaping the next era of banking.
The seminar highlighted the importance of industry–academia collaboration, with both Prime Bank and BUP reaffirming their commitment to strengthening partnerships through student-focused initiatives, research collaborations, and skill development programs, the release adds.
