Prime Bank launches NEERA initiative for the underprivileged women  

Prime Bank Women’s Initiative ‘NEERA’ has come forward to assist the underprivileged women of the society on hygiene and healthcare.

As part of ‘Month of Neera’ initiative, marking the International Women’s Day, the officials of different branches of Prime Bank are visiting the neighbourhood community of their branches and helping the women on healthcare and wellness, financial inclusion, financial literacy, wealth management etc.

A team of female officials of Prime Bank has visited slums in Dhaka and distributed sanitary products to the women living there, says a press release.

NEERA will undertake a number of welfare initiatives for the women from the branches across the country under ‘Month of Neera’ initiative.     

The initiative appreciates immense contribution the women are making to the national development and promises to create an enabling environment so that they can realise their innate talent and full potential and pursue their dreams.

Commenting about the initiative, Shaila Abedin, EVP and Head of Segments, Prime Bank said, ‘Month of Neera initiative is aimed at having a real impact and making women from all spheres of the society feel special as they deserve the best. NEERA will continue to stand for women in their relentless pursuit for progress. We will go extra miles for womanhood helping them realise their full potential’.
