Pubali Bank holds branch managers' conference of Sylhet division

Pubali Bank Limited has organised its second branch managers’ conference 2023 recently.

Branch managers, sub-branch managers and Islamic banking window heads representing Sylhet East, Sylhet West, and Moulvibazar Regional Offices participated in the day-long conference, organised by the Principal Office Sylhet at Sylhet Station Club Limited.

Managing Director and Chief Executive of the bank Mohammad Ali attended the conference as the chief guest.

Deputy Managing Director Mohammad Anisuzzaman was present as a special guest while Abu Laich Md. Samsujjaman, general manager of Principal Office Sylhet, chaired the conference.

Among others, Chowdhury Md. Shofiul Hassan, regional manager and deputy general manager of Sylhet East, Md. Shaiful Islam, regional manager and deputy general manager of Sylhet West Region and Md. Fazlul Kabir Chowdhury, regional and deputy general manager of the Moulvibazar Region were also present on the occasion.

Managing Director Mohammad Ali emphasized the imperative of expanding the bank's operations through the provision of advanced and contemporary banking services.

Highlighting Pubali Bank Limited's status as the largest private commercial bank in Bangladesh, he underscored the institution's unwavering commitment to transparent lending practices to foster sustainable growth.

He urged the managers to meticulously select qualified individuals and institutions for credit disbursement, especially in the spheres of agricultural and industrial development.

Stressing the necessity of recovering defaulted, classified and abandoned loans, he urged all regional heads to exercise special vigilance and close supervision to prevent the occurrence of new loan defaults or classifications.
