Rashed Akter elected president, Rashid-un-Nabi general secretary of Bankers Club of Bangladesh Limited

Md. Rashed Akter and Rashid-un-Nabi were elected President and General Secretary, respectively, of Bankers Club of Bangladesh Limited on February 27, 2026, following the organization's executive committee elections.
Forty-seven candidates contested across two panels, the Bankers' Unity Council and the Universal Bankers' Council , plus one independent, said a press release.
The Bankers' Unity Council swept 19 of the available positions, including the top three offices, while the Universal Bankers' Council secured three seats, including Social Service Secretary.
