Recitation event by Charukontho on the Poetry of Eminent Poet & Thinker Fayaz Alam

Charukontho Abritti Sangsad has organised its quarterly recitation event titled ‘Binomro Roder Chhaya’ for the 37th time, featuring the poetry of eminent poet and thinker Md. Foyez Alam.

The event was held at the Bishwo Shahitto Kendro in the capital, according to a press release.

On Wednesday (26 November) evening, the invited discussants were poet and storyteller Zohra Parul and researcher and theatre critic Abu Sayed Tulu.

In the first part of the program, reciters from Charukontho along with invited performers recited poems written by the poet.

In the second part, researcher and theatre critic Abu Sayed Tulu shed light on various informative and theoretical aspects of the poet’s works and intellectual sphere, while poet and storyteller Zohra Parul spoke about the poet’s literary world and family life.
