Regent Airways to connect Dhaka with Dammam in Feb

Regent Airways, a renowned airline of Bangladesh, has spread its wings further, adding a new route from Dhaka to Dammam, the third biggest commercial city of Saudi Arabia.   

The Airways will start its Dhaka-Dammam flight on February 22, says a press release of the airline.

Dhaka-Dammam-Dhaka route is the 8th international and 3rd Gulf route of Regent Airways. The newly added aircraft, Boeing 737-800 with 176 seats, will run on this route. There are eight business and 168 economy class seats in this aircraft.

Initially, the flight will be operated four days a week -- Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. The airline will operate daily flight to Dammam from next June.

One-way fares start from Tk 20,838 and return fares Tk 53,395, inclusive of all taxes, with baggage allowance from Dhaka up to 20 Kg while from Dammam up to 45 Kg.

In addition, Regent Airways will offer bus service between Dammam and the Saudi capital of Riyadh (400km).

Presently, Regent Airways is operating international flights to Muscat, Doha, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Bangkok, Kolkata, Kathmandu and domestic flights to Chittagong, Cox's Bazar and Saidpur routes with six Boeing and two D8-300 aircraft.
