The 10th Extraordinary General Meeting and the 39th Annual General Meeting of state-owned Rupali Bank PLC were held on Wednesday at the bank’s conference room.
The meeting was conducted in a hybrid format by the bank’s Chairman Md. Nazrul Huda.
Mohammad Helal Uddin Joint Secretary of the Financial Institutions Division, Ministry of Finance, was present as the government representative, according to a media release.
Managing Director of Rupali Bank Kazi Md. Wahidul Islam delivered the welcome speech at the event.
In the meeting, all proposals, including the audited financial statements of the bank for 2024, were approved by the shareholders according to the agenda.
Directors of the Rupali Bank A B M Abdus Sattar, Md. Shahjahan, Md. Abu Yousuf Miah, Shoaeb Ahmed, Mujib Ahmad Siddiqui, A H M Moyeen Uddin and Independent Director Md. Rafiqul Alam attended the meeting.
Deputy Managing Directors of the bank Persuma Alam, Hasan Tanvir and Md. Harunur Rashid were also present.
Conducted by the Company Secretary of the bank, Mohammed Shahedur Rahman, a significant number of shareholders participated both in person and virtually.
