SBAC Bank holds 11th AGM

SBAC Bank PLC held its 11th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Saturday, combining online and physical attendance at the RAOWA Center.

Chairman of the Board of Directors AZM Shofiuddin Shamim, MP, presided over the meeting, according to a press release.

The shareholders approved seven other agendas, including the Audited Financial Statements along with the Auditors’ Report & the Directors’ Report for the year ended on December 31, 2023, and a two per cent cash dividend for the shareholders, election/reelection of retired directors in the AGM and the appointment of Independent Directors.

Managing Director and CEO Habibur Rahman delivered speech in the Annual General Meeting (AGM). Among others, the Directors of the Bank Mohammed Ayub, Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Mahbubor Rahman, Shohel Ahmed & Independent Director Md Sajidur Rahman were also present.

Shareholders, Sponsor Shareholders, including the bank’s Additional Managing Director Md Nurul Azim, Senior Executives, Divisional Head and Branch Managers, participated in the AGM. The EVP and Company Secretary of the bank, Md Mokaddess Ali, moderated the programme.
