SBAC Bank holds Islamic Banking and Shariah Awareness Program

SBAC Bank PLC organized a day-long training workshop titled “Islamic Banking and Shariah Awareness Program” for officials working in Islamic Windows’ Branches and Head Office on Saturday at SBAC Bank Training Institute.

Mr. Mohammad Zakir Hossain, Additional Director of the Islamic Banking Regulations and Policy Department of Bangladesh Bank, spoke about Shariah-based deposit and investment products and Mr. Aftab Uddin, Deputy Director, Bangladesh Bank discussed the regulatory framework for conducting Islamic Banking & Shariah Governance and its evolution at the workshop, according to a media release. 

Mr. Md. Masoodur Rahman, SEVP & Head of Banking Operations Division, Mr. Md. Saidur Rahman, principal of SBAC Bank Training Institute and Mr. Mohammad Rafiqul Islam Shikder, VP & Head of the Islamic Banking Division of SBAC Bank were also present in the program.
