South Bangla Agriculture & Commerce (SBAC) Bank Limited has launched a digital payment service ‘BanglaPay’ for its customers at the bank’s head office in the capital.
The ‘BanglaPay’ customers will be able to enjoy fund transfer facility, pay utility bills and purchase products online using their smartphones as a digital wallet.
The Bank’s Director Mohammad Nawaz and Managing Director and CEO Md Golam Faruque unveiled the digital payment service on Sunday, according to a press statement.
AMD Mostafa Jalal Uddin Ahmed, DMD Mamunur Rashid Molla, SEVP Shafiuddin Ahmed & Md Kamal Uddin, Head of IT Md Mizanur Rahman, Head of Card Mohammad Shafiul Azam of SBAC Bank were also present, among others, in the ceremony.
