SBI provides RO water systems in salinity-prone areas of Bangladesh through Shakti Foundation

State Bank of India (SBI) recently provided Reverse OSMOSIS (RO) water systems in salinity-prone areas of Bangladesh through the Shakti Foundation, a leading non-government organisation aimed at addressing the critical issue of saline water in coastal areas in Chattogram district, Bangladesh, as part of CSR activity of the bank.

ShriSushil Kumer, Regional Head, South Asia, Shri. Amit Kumar, Country Head – Bangladesh, Shri Vikash Kumer, CEO- Chattogram handed over the cheques to Shakti Foundation ED Mrs Humaira Islam, Phd, Senior Director and Head of Finance, Mrs Sahida Parvin, Director, Mrs Anupoma Niloya Troyee and Mr Faisal Rahman.

Shri Debajyoti Banerjee, Head of Credit, Shri Sumanta Ghosh, CEO – Dhaka, SBI and Shri Abhimanyu Kumar, Head of IT, were also present.
