With the lead of Bank Asia PLC and the participation of 24 commercial banks, the School Banking Conference-2025 was held in Bhola on 22 February 2025, aiming to create savings habits among school students.
Bangladesh Bank Director in Barishal Imtiaz Ahmad Masum was chief guest at the conference with Deputy Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Bank Asia PLC Mirza Azhar Ahmad in the chair, according to a press release.
Md. Fazlul Bashar, DGM and Area Head of Sonali Bank PLC, Gonesh Chandra Devnath, DGM and Area Head of Agrani Bank PLC, Mir Mohammad Rafiuddin, AGM and Bhola Regional Chief of Bangladesh Krishi Bank, Quazi Mortuza Ali, Senior Vice President of Bank Asia PLC and Md Mostaq Uddin, Bhola Branch Head of Bank Asia PLC, among others, were present.
Earlier in the morning, students from different schools of the town brought out a colorful rally that paraded various roads.
