Shahjalal Islami Bank distributes relief materials in capital

Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited on Saturday distributed food items among more than 5 hundred needy and poor people in the area adjacent to Baridhara J-Block of the capital Dhaka on the occasion of the National Mourning Day and the 48th martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

Chairman of the bank Mr. Mohammed Younus was present as chief guest and distributed food items among the needy and poor, says a press release.

The Councilor of Ward No. 39 Shafiqul Islam Basek was present as special guest in the programme.

Among others, Additional Managing Director of the bank Mian Quamrul Hasan Chowdhury, Principal of the bank’s Training Academy Md. Saidur Rahman, Head of Public Relations Division and Bank Foundation Md. Shamsuddoha (Shimu) and manager of Progati Sarani Branch Muhammed Noorunnabi were also present.
