Shahjalal Islami Bank inaugurates Hajj booth, free medical camp at Ashkona Hajj camp

Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC inaugurated a Hajj booth and free medical camp on Saturday at Ashkona Hajj camp to provide sufficient Hajj guidelines and free medical services to the pilgrims.

Free medical services will be provided on behalf of Anwer Khan Modern Medical College Hospital. Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC will provide Hajj guide and 20,000 (twenty thousand) pieces of umbrella to the pilgrims, according to a press release.

The Managing Director of the bank Mr Mosleh Uddin Ahmed inaugurated the booth and medical camp as a chief guest. The Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Religious Affairs Mr Md Kamruzzaman and the President of the HAAB Mr M Shahadat Hossain Taslim were also present as special guests.

Additional Managing Director of the bank Mr M Akhter Hossain, the Head of the Shariah Inspection and Compliance division of the bank Md Farid Uddin, the Manager of the Uttara branch of the bank Mr Mohammad Abu Hanif, the Manager of Ashkona branch Mr Ahsanul Hoque Ferdous, the Manager of Uttara ladies branch Ms Badrunnessa Toly, the Manager of Tongi SME/Krishi branch Mr Md Abdul Mazid, among others were also present.
