Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC receives award from Global Economist Forum

Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC was recently recognised as the strongest shariah-based bank by the Global Economist Forum, according to a press release Tuesday.

Managing Director of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC Mosleh Uddin Ahmed received the award from Dr Iftekhar Ahmed Chowdhury, the chief guest of the programme and former foreign affairs advisor of the caretaker government.

Among others, the President of Global Economist Forum Dr Enayet Karim, Senior Vice President Major General Dr Dilawar Singh and the High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam H E Haji Haris bin Haji Othman were present in the award-giving ceremony.
