Shakti Foundation for Disadvantaged Women has won the prestigious South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) 'Certificate of Merit' Award for the best presented annual report in the non-governmental organisation (NGO) category.
The award was handed over at a ceremony in Colombo, Sri Lanka on Monday.
According to a press release issued on Tuesday, Shakti Foundation has achieved the regional-level award by competing with the entities from other SAARC countries. SAFA is the federation of accountants' organisations of all the SAARC countries.
