ShareTrip, a travel and lifestyle company of the country, has stood by the communities devastated by the recent floods in Noakhali, Feni and Chattogram districts that has caused huge the loss and hardship to countless families.
For the rehabilitation of the flood victim, the company has donated Tk 1.5 million to the Chief Advisor’s Flood Relief Fund out of Tk 5 million they pledged in response to the humanitarian crisis, said a press release issued on Wednesday.
According to the release, ShareTrip employees contributed a portion of their salaries demonstrating a collective commitment.
It said a specific portion of airfares from air ticket bookings would be allocated to flood relief efforts through a few NGOs, ensuring that every booking makes a meaningful contribution to supporting those in need.
Sadia Haque, co-founder and CEO of ShareTrip, said, "In times of crisis, we must stand united as a community. While our efforts may seem modest, we are committed to offering relief to those who are severely impacted.”
