Social Islami Bank Limited (SIBL) has arranged a two-day photography exhibition on ‘Nature of Bangladesh’ at its head office.
Managing Director and CEO of SIBL Mr. Quazi Osman Ali inaugurated the photo exhibition today (Sunday) while Kazi Towhidul Alam, Additional Managing Director, Abu Naser Chowdhury, Deputy Managing Director, Md Sirajul Hoque, Deputy Managing Director of SIBL were present as special guests at the opening ceremony.
Earlier, a total of 150 entries by 50 employees featuring the nuances of natural beauty of Bangladesh were received for Photo Contest-2019, according to a press statement.
A jury board comprising renowned photographers Mujibur Rahman Khan, Mokaram Hossain and Mohosin Kabir selected six best images for the SIBL 2020 calendar.
A total of 39 photographs were put on display at the exhibition launched on Sunday.
Saiful Kabir Ahmad, Manager of Homna Branch won the first prize for his work Misty Morning while Emaul Hasan Bhuiyan’s Lonely Tree earned him the second prize and he is from Tukerbazar Branch.
Ismat Rabbani Ivu, an official of Principal Branch, Dhaka, bagged the third prize for his work Sajek Valley.
SIBL arranged this photo contest as part of its employee motivation programme.
