Social Islami Bank Limited (SIBL) recently has opened its 67th agent banking unit at Baridhara area in Dhaka.
Zafar Alam, deputy managing director of SIBL, formally joined the ceremony as the chief guest.
Air Commodore Syed Zillani Mahbubur Rahman (Retd.) presided over the programme, according to a press release.
Major General Md Jahangir Hossain Mallik (Retd.), SIBL Agent Banking partner Major Md Quamrul Hassan (Retd.), were also present at the function.
Md Habibur Rahman, SEVP, M A Mottaleb, SVP, K M Barkatul Haque Sarker, AVP of the bank and other local elites attended the ceremony.
