SJIBL organises “Half-Yearly Business Conference-2023”

Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SJIBL) organised “Half-Yearly Business Conference-2023” through digital platform on Saturday.

The inaugural ceremony of the conference was presided over by the Managing Director & CEO of the bank Mosleh Uddin Ahmed, while the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the bank Mohammed Younus was present as the chief guest, says a press release.

Among others the Vice-Chairmen of the Board Abdul Karim (Nazim), the Directors the Directors Md Sanaullah Shahid, Fakir Akhtaruzzaman and Independent Director Nasir Uddin Ahmed were also present as special guest and delivered speech.

On the other hand, the Additional Managing Directors of the bank Abdul Aziz, S M Mainuddin Chowdhury, Mian Quamrul Hasan Chowdhury and M Akhter Hossain, the Deputy Managing Directors Imtiaz U Ahmed, Md Nazimuddoula, Rashed Sarwar, M M Saiful Islam and Mustafa Husain and the CFO of the bank Md Jafar Sadeq, FCA also present and delivered speech in the meeting. The Head of Public Relations Division (PRD) of the bank Md Shamsuddoha Shimu moderated the programme. The Head of different Division from Corporate Head Office, the Branch Managers of 140 Branches & 04 Sub-Branches including the Executives and officers there were 850 participants took part in the business conference virtually.

In the meeting, the speakers discussed the business performance of the first six months of the current year and urged to take necessary strategy and action plan to achieve the business target for the remaining time of the year.
