Social Islami Bank opens seven sub-branches

Social Islami Bank opened seven new sub-branches on Wednesday at the bank’s head office.

Zafar Alam, Managing Director and CEO, inaugurated the sub-branches as the chief guest, while Mohammad Forkanullah, Deputy Managing Director, presided over the programme, according to a media release.

Abdul Hannan Khan and Mohammad Habibur Rahman, Deputy Managing Directors, and Joynal Abedin, Head of BCD, delivered speech on the occasion.

Divisional heads and senior officials of the head office were also present in the programme. 

Zonal heads, managers of different branches and sub-branch in-charges, and local dignitaries also joined the programme virtually.

The new sub-branches are Birganj Sub-branch and Fulbari Sub-branch at Dinajpur, Munshibazar Sub-branch and Kulaura Sub-branch at Moulvibazar, Bhaluka Sub-branch at Mymensingh, Nabinagar Sub-branch at Brahmanbaria, Godagari Sub-branch at Rajshahi.

Speaking on the occasion, Zafar Alam, MD and CEO, said, “We are providing our products and services at the doorsteps of the mass people by opening sub-branches in the remotest areas in the country.”

He also added that people would be benefitted by availing life-related products available at the bank’s sub-branches.
