Sonali Bank Limited has opened an ATM booth at Akhaura Land port in Brahmanbaria.
Advocate Anisul Huq, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary affairs, inaugurated the booth on Friday.
The booth will remain open 365 days of the year.
After the inaugural ceremony, the minister attended a meeting arranged by Sonali Bank as the chief guest.
Rezwanur Rahman, Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Brahmanbaria, presided over the meeting while Md Mokhlesur Rahman, Deputy General Manager (DGM) of the bank delivered the welcome address to the participants.
M Shahriar Mollah, member of National Board of Revenue (NBR) and Md Mahbubuzamman, Commissioner of Customs, Excise & VAT Commissionerate, Comilla were present among other guests.
