The 14th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Sonali Investment Limited, a subsidiary of Sonali Bank PLC, was held at the conference room of the bank’s head office on Wednesday.
Sonali Bank PLC Chief Executive Officer Md Afzal Karim presided over the meeting while Chairman of the Board Ziaul Hasan Siddiqui attended as a special guest.
Among others, Sonali Investment Limited Director Sanchia Binte Ali, Subhash Chnadra Das, Al-Imran Ruhul Islam, Md Iqbal Hossain, Sonali Investment Limited CEO Md Shawkat Jahan Khan and other deputy managing directors joined the meeting.
The shareholders of Sonali Investment Limited approved the financial statements for the year ended on December 31, 2023, and 6 per cent dividend amounting to Tk 137.4 million (Tk 13.74 crore) for the shareholders in the AGM.
