Southeast Bank PLC recently successfully hosted an Executive Conference on “Redefining the Future of Banking with Generative AI, Agentic AI, and Blockchain” at the Southeast Bank Training Institute, Dhaka.
The event, attended by 80 executives and officers of the bank, underscored the bank's commitment to innovation and workforce development, according to a media release.
Chairman of the bank, Mr. M.A. Kashem inaugurated the conference as the Chief Guest.
He emphasized Southeast Bank’s vision to lead the financial sector through technological transformation and its focus on equipping employees for the challenges of a rapidly evolving industry.
Keynote speaker Mr. Khondkar Atique-e-Rabbani, FCA, Managing Director of Computers Ltd. and a founder member of BASIS, delivered insightful perspectives on the transformative potential of Generative AI, Agentic AI, and Blockchain in banking.
Mr. Nuruddin Md. Sadeque Hossain, Managing Director, Southeast Bank PLC was also present in the conference.
