Southeast Bank PLC on Saturday celebrated its 30th founding anniversary through a colourful programme held at the Bangladesh China Friendship Conference Center in the city, says a statement.
Nazma Mobarek, secretary of the Financial Institutions Division of the Ministry of Finance, attended the event as the chief guest.
She commended the bank's long-standing contribution to the country's financial sector.
Md Zakir Hossain Chowdhury, deputy governor of Bangladesh Bank, was also present as special guest.
MA Kashem, chairman of Southeast Bank PLC, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the bank's clients, stakeholders, and employees, emphasising the values of trust, integrity, and innovation that have guided the bank over the past three decades.
Rehana Rahman, vice chairperson of the bank, also delivered speech at the event. Abidur Rahman Chowdhury, managing director (Current Charge), delivered his welcome speech.
