Southeast Bank supports Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University under special CSR fund

As part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR), Southeast Bank PLC has extended special financial support under its special CSR fund to Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University for conducting research activities.
Mr. Nuruddin Md. Sadeque Hossain, Managing Director of the bank, handed over the financial assistance cheque to Vice-Chancellor of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University Professor Dr Md. Abdul Latif in the event.
Professor Dr. Md. Arfan Ali, Department of Horticulture and proctor of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University; Dr. Mirza Hasanuzzaman, Department of Agronomy and Principal Investigator of the Project, and Anisur Rahman, Department of Agronomy and Co-Researcher of the Project of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, were present in the meeting. Mr. Abidur Rahman Chowdhury, Deputy Managing Director, and Md. Musfiqur Rahman, Vice President and Head of CSR Division of Southeast Bank, also attended the event.
It is worth mentioning that Southeast Bank has extended similar financial assistance to Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh; Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University, Gazipur; Chattogram Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Chattogram; Sylhet Agricultural University; Habiganj Agricultural University; and Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University.
This financial assistance reflects Southeast Bank’s ongoing commitment to supporting agricultural research and contributing to national agricultural development as part of its social responsibility initiatives.
