Southeast Bank's International Division first in Bangladesh to receive ISO 9001:2015 Certification

The International Division of Southeast Bank PLC has become the first in Bangladesh to receive the ISO 9001:2015 Certification from Bureau Veritas (Bangladesh) Pvt Ltd., a globally recognised certification body.

This certification acknowledges the bank’s commitment to maintaining a Quality Management System (QMS) in its international operations, according to a press release. 

Nuruddin Md. Sadeque Hossain, managing director of Southeast Bank, accepted the certification from Mahmudul Islam Khan, Senior Executive of Bureau Veritas.

Senior officials, including deputy managing directors Md. Masum Uddin Khan and  Abidur Rahman Chowdhury, were present at the event, alongside representatives from iota Consulting BD, the bank's local ISO consulting partner.

This recognition underscores Southeast Bank’s dedication to efficiency, standards, and compliance in international trade, supported by a robust foreign correspondent network across 70 countries.
