Square Toiletries Limited, a subsidiary of Square Group, inaugurated its new building named 'Anita Centre' on Saturday, marking the 91st birthday of Anita Chowdhury, popularly known as 'Square Mata' (mother).
Late Anita Chowdhury was the wife of Square Group founder chairman Samson H Chowdhury.
The state-of-the-art building was located at Plot No. 77, Road No. 7, Sector No. 7, in Uttara.
Chairman of Square Group Samuel S Chowdhury, Vice Chairman Ratna Patra and Directors Tapan Chowdhury and Anjan Chowdhury were present at the inaugural ceremony.
Other family members and colleagues working in various organisations of Square Group also attended the event.
From now on, this building of Square Toiletries will be used as the new corporate office of Square Textiles PLC.
