State Bank of India (SBI), Bangladesh operations, held its Annual Risk Conference 2025 to enhance risk awareness and promote proactive risk management among staff.
The conference was held at Amari Dhaka in the capital on Saturday.
A.N.M. Moinul Kabir, Director of the Department of Off-Site Supervision (Division-2) at Bangladesh Bank, attended as the chief guest. Additional Director Surabhi Ghosh conducted sessions on operational risk and reviewed the bank’s risk management performance, said a press release.
The conference, chaired by SBI Bangladesh Country Head Amit Kumar, was held in a hybrid format, with Dhaka-based staff attending in person while employees from Chattogram and Khulna joined virtually.
Chief Risk Officer Anirban Haq and Head of Credit Debajyoti Banerjee led discussions on SBI’s risk management strategy and emerging financial risks.
