State Bank of India, Bkash sign MoU for mutual facilitation of products, services

State Bank of India, Bangladesh Operations and Bkash have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) recently, at the country office premises of State Bank of India, Bangladesh Operations.

The MoU was signed by Mr P K Sikder, head of operations of SBI Bangladesh and Mr Ali Ahmed, chief commercial officer of Bkash Ltd on Thursday (July 4) in the presence of Shri Sushil Kumar, regional head, South Asia, Shri Amit Kumar country head of SBI Bangladesh Operations and other top levels officials of the Bank and Bkash Ltd, according to a press release.

This agreement is the beginning of a collaborative effort to enhance inward remittance service through mobile financial services, fund transfer from bkash to SBI accounts, enabling customers to make payments through bkash merchants using QR codes through the YONO app and mutual facilitation of different products and services.
