State Bank of India (SBI), Bangladesh Operations observes International Women’s Day 2023

State Bank of India, Bangladesh Operation celebrated International Women’s Day -2023 on 9th of March, at Patio Hall, Gulshan Club with DigitALL: Innovation and Technology for Gender Equality as the Theme of the celebration.

Mrs. Manu Verma, First Lady of the  High Commission of India, Dhaka graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Ms. Nishat Mazuder, first Bangladeshi lady to scale Mt. Everest, Ms. Nafisa Haque, News Presenter, News 24, Ms. Shaila Parvin Bithi, Mounteneer and Ms. Nadedza Sultana Earnnick, Singer and judge of Bangladeshi Idol were felicitated on the occasion for their outstanding achievements in life, said a press release. 

Shri Amit Kumar, Country Head, SBI Bangladesh Operation, in his Welcome Speech stressed the importance of women empowerment and leveraging technology to bring in further empowerment to women in the society. 

Madam Manu Verma, in here keynote address, stressed that women should start loving themselves in totality as they are,  and also to start feeling accomplished and empowered for everything they are doing in their day to day lives instead of searching for recognition somewhere else. Then only, the true women empowerment can be achieved.

All the women staff members of SBI Bangladesh Operations and spouses of all staff members were present on the occasion.
